Off the stage and into the living room!

Speculative Drama, known for our immersive theatrical performances, present a unique production of Shakespeare’s HAMLET in the fashion of Oregon Shakespeare Festival meets Sleep No More.
Join an intimate audience of 10-12 guests following our cast through the world’s worst family reunion!

The “Lake House” Hamlet, performed in a Southeast Portland private home explores themes of class privilege, family drama, and madness through a contemporary lens. This production focuses on the intimate personal violence of indecision, madness, and betrayal, bringing into sharp focus the intersection of privilege and care: how one person’s inability to make adult choices can drown themselves and all those around them in their wake.
